About

an extroverted introvert who loves human connection and uses design to improve people’s everyday lives.

The adversities I experienced during childhood and into adulthood have shown me that life is short.

It has also taught me resiliency; in the past few years, I have learned to roll with the punches.

Design is gives me an opportunity to provide empathy and solve problems

In a world where everyone is busy looking out for themselves, design gives me a platform to exercise empathy while solving problems. Experiencing a lack of empathy from others is really what led me to design. My journey really started when I entered a hackathon and the project was to design an app of a public transit system for people with disabilities. No one should feel left out or feel like they aren’t able to do something because

"People ignore design that ignores people." - Frank Chimero.

Things I like outside of design

Books, music, the beach, puzzles, and pens that write nice

I enjoy spending time alone to recharge. I love looking for and listening to new music, doing jigsaw puzzles and feeding my pen addiction. I used to love collecting physical books, albums and puzzles, but they started taking up so much space that I had to go digital: I now collect books on my Kindle, music on my Apple music and puzzles on my jigsaw puzzle game app.
